A busy summer so far!

Wow I can't believe I haven't post since before Ohio!  It has been so crazy with a lot of first for the girls!  First the trip....It went well.  The ride to Ohio ended with crying but only for the last half hour.  We did have to stop a lot for feeding and diaper changes and letting the girls stretch. Our 9 hour ride from NY to Ohio took us 12 hours.  We left my sister in NY at 3 am and a arrived in Mansfield at 3pm.  We decided to leave at 5pm to drive home and it took us 13 hours (we didn't stop at my sisters).  We made great time but we both were sooooo tired!  The girls really mastered sitting up and holding their bottles in Ohio.  They also turned 7 months and had their first 4th of July out there.  We also had 2 photo shoots and the pics came out amazing!  I will post them as soon as I get them all.
Last week the girls had another first...the ocean!  We went to Rye beach and Livy LOVED it!  Aria wasn't sure what to make of it.  I love the ocean and I hope my girls grow to love it as well.  We have also been to our lake a lot and the girls have become water bugs!
This week so far I have been organizing and posting all the girls clothes they have grown out of! There is a great facebook group called Moms of Multiples resale and you sell and buy all multiple clothes!  I have so many clothes I could open a store today and fill it!  Iam also organizing all my kids winter clothes to post on eBay soon.   Selling slowed wayyy down for the summer and is now really picking back up.
Oh another first happened last week...both girls slept through the night!!! Together!  It lasted for 2 nights and Aria is back to waking up around 2am.  Liv sleeps through the night most nights.  I usually feed Aria before I go to sleep and she still wakes up around 2 am and downs a bottle.  If she woke up and only ate like an ounce I would be more inclined to do some sleep training but because she drinks 4-6 oz at 2 am  I feel she must need it.  I have also tried feeding her more during the day but it doesn't seem to work.  So at this point I am really not sure what to do so I keep feeding her.  Anyway, thats all for now.

  1. You are a brave woman to take 7 month old twins on such a long car ride! Glad it turned out well! I went to college not far from Mansfield... Ashland University. I know Mansfield well.
